KRCL-Konkan Railway Recruitment Detailed Eligibility:

Junior Scale Executives (Accounts):

Regular Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce stream and qualification of Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) from recognised Institution.

Junior Scale Executives (Traffic (Operating & Commercial)):

• Regular Bachelor’s Degree in any stream and qualification of Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing/ Sales/ Logistics/ Transportation or other equivalent.
• Candidate should possess a valid Common Admission Test (CAT) score not earlier than year 2012.

Junior Scale Executives (Personnel):

• Regular Bachelor’s Degree in any stream and qualification of Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources
• Candidate should possess a valid Common Admission Test (CAT) score not earlier than year 2012.

Age Limit(As on 01.07.2018): Below 30 years

Relaxations in upper age limit:

• 5 Years for SC/ST candidates
• 3 Years for OBC-Non-Creamy Layer candidates
• Others as per Govt rules.

KRCL-Konkan Railway Recruitment 2018-Selection Process:

• KRCL will be utilizing valid Common Admission Test (CAT) Scores, conducted by the IIMs, for recruitment of posts in Traffic (Operating & Commercial) and Personnel Departments. The CAT score should not be prior to Year 2012.
• For posts in Accounts department valid CA/CMA score shall be considered.
• All candidates, shall be evaluated on Group Discussion, Presentation and Personal Interview.
• Candidates are required to give a slides presentation based on any topic of their professional qualification. The total presentation time should not be more than 5 minutes.

Weightage of marks:

• CAT/CA/CMA score – 60%
• Group Discussion – 10%
• Presentation – 10%
• Personal Interview – 20%
• OVERALL QUALIFYING MARKS – 60%

Application Fee: Rs.500/- (No fee for SC/ST candidates)

KRCL-Konkan Railway Recruitment 2018-Selection Process:

• The selection process will be based on Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficency Test (PET) and Document Verification (DV).
• Candidates twice the number of vacancies who qualify in CBT will be called for PET- candidates equal to the number of vacancies who qualify in PET will be called for DV. PET is qualifying in nature.

Computer Based Test (CBT):

• CBT contains 100 Multiople Choice Questions for 90 Minutes duration.
• The CBT is of screening nature and the standard of questions for the CBT will be objective type with multiple choices and are likely to include questions pertaining to Common General Awareness
• There shall be negative marking for incorrect answers in CBT. 1/3rd of the marks allotted for each question shall be deducted for each wrong answer.

CBT- Qualifying Marks:

• For UR Category – 50%
• For OBC-NCL/SC/ST Category – 40%
• PWD (UR-38 %, Others-28%)

Application Fee:

• SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman/Female/Minorities/Economically backward class: Rs.250/-
• For all other candidates: Rs.500/-

Note: This fee of Rs.250/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing CBT.
