Join Indian Navy Recruitment Selection process:

Preliminary selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in Matric & ITI Examination.
Candidates in the Preliminary Merit list will be called for written test and oral exam by call letters.
Qualified candidates in written and oral examination will be issued Medical Examination Forms (MEF) and Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) for completion and submitting back as per scheduled date to Apprentice Training School, Naval Ship Repair Yard, Kochi.
On receipt of MEF & PCC before the scheduled date, a merit list will be prepared and accordingly joining letters will be forwarded to the selected candidates to report to NSRY(K) on 15 Oct 18 for commencement of the training.

Join Indian Navy Recruitment Selection process:

Selection of recruits is based on the order of merit on their performance in Computer-based Examination, qualifying Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in Medical Examinations.
Results of the Written Test will be announced on the same day and those who qualify written test will undergo PFT and Initial Medical Examination, which may take 1-2 days.

Written Examination:

The question paper will be bilingual (Hindi & English) and objective type.
The question paper will comprise of two sections i.e. Science & Mathematics and General
Knowledge.
Duration of examination will be 30 minutes.
The candidates are required to pass in all sections and in aggregate.

Physical Fitness Test (PFT):

Qualifying in Physical Fitness Test is mandatory for selection.
PFT will consist of 1.6 Km run to be completed in 7 minutes, 20 squats (Uthak Baithak) and 10 Push-ups. Candidates undergoing PFT will do so at their own risk.
