NHPC Recruitment 2018 announced notification for the post of Trade Apprentices in various trades. The detailed eligibility and application process are given in below.

Detailed Eligibility:

Educational Qualification: 

• 10th and ITI Passed in relevant trade. (For Electrician/Mechanic/Fitter/Welder/Plumber)
• 12th and ITI Passed in relevant trade. (For COPA trade)

Note:

• Result awaited candidates need not apply.
• Candidates who have already taken such training from any other Govt./ Semi Govt. organization shall not be considered.

Age limit (As on 10.09.2018):

• For COPA trade: Above 18 years
• Other trades: Above 14 years.

Relaxations in upper age limit:

• 05 years for SC/ST candidates
• 03 Years for OBC (NonCreamy Layer) candidates

NHPC Apprentice – Trade wise vacancies: 30 Posts

• Electrician – 10 Posts
• Mechanic (MV) – 3 Posts
• Fitter – 5 Posts
• Welder – 2 Posts
• Plumber – 2 Posts
• Computer Operator and Computer Assistant (COPA) – 8 Posts

Training Period: One Year (01 Year).

NHPC Apprentice Selection process:

Eligible candidates as per requirement will be shortlisted on the basis of merit list prepared on the basis of the marks secured in ITI / 10th Class.
